Attempted theft from 100 Clarendon Garage!

Hi everyone,

Yesterday at around 11:30am someone attempted to steal my Honda Ruckus from the parking garage at 100 Clarendon. It was locked up, covered, and the steering column was also locked (appears to be the only thing that prevented it from actually getting stolen).

Details:

• 4 people pulled up to the bike racks at the garage, riding 2 scooters
• The removed the cover, cut the chain and then attempted to break the steering lock by kicking the handlebars but were unsuccessful
• 2 people attempted the theft while the other two waited nearby (perhaps lookout)
• I couldn't get a good look at their faces, but security informed me that this wasn't their first attempt - they have tried to approach them in the past and they manage to scoot off almost immediately
• The garage security was very helpful and filed a police report

While they didn't get away with my scooter, they did manage to mess up my steering column (where I have to tilt the handles to the right in order to drive straight). BOO!
