An adventure classic, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. As usual read in adulthood, but better late than never. When I was a child, a drama based on the novel was broadcast, which I really liked, even though I didn't see the last episode. A novel that I recommend to everyone, because it contains everything that the adventure must contain. And those who love timeless pirate stories can't miss it. From that moment I understood that I had to delve deeper into the genre and I purchased and read other adventure novels and other authors of the narrative genre. Treasure Island is written in the first person and I have read other adventure novels narrated in the first person.
In fact, if you think about it, it's as if a character returning from a fantastic adventure tells a friend or an audience about his adventures.Chapter IV – Schizophrenia of a dead man Poor Giacomo Arrighi was in the hands of the medical examiner. Still terrified by the impressive discovery, clutching the severed head in a gesture of pitiful protection, Burlando observed in Phone Number Datahorror the decapitated body lying on the table, wondering who on earth it could belong to. Certainly not to Mr. Arrighi. However, he left no stone unturned. He did a blood test and discovered that the hematological sample taken from Arrighi's head was group 0 Rh- and the one from the stranger's body was group B Rh+. And then there was another fact that shocked him quite a bit. The blood still on his skull was fresh, as one would expect, while the blood on his body appeared to have been clotted for years.
Hundreds of questions flashed through the doctor's mind, which remained unanswered. He glanced at the clothes worn by the decapitated body and quickly approached, starting to search his pockets in the hope of finding a clue. In that moment of frenzy a cry died in his throat, suffocated by the subtle certainty he had just touched. Chapter V – The exhumation of Adelmo Forsetti Doctor Burlando's gloomy revelations - however categorically founded - made the skin of the impenetrable inspector Clivetti crawl, so much so that even today, old and retired, he finds himself trembling in the uncertainly lit streets of Montebrugo. Where the hard arm of the law had not reached, the specialized branch of Medicine had prevailed.
